Madeline Smith is excited to be joining the Pied À Terre family! She is a writer and actor living in Brooklyn. Theater credits include Lou Gehrig Did Not Die of Cancer, 12 Angry Women, and her personal favorite Mr. Boom by Jake Fallon. Film credits include the award winning Tailor Shop. She studied acting at Playhouse West Brooklyn Lab.
MACY McGRAIL (Katie)
Macy McGrail is an actor, comedian, writer, and native New Yorker. She is UCB-trained in improv with recent performances at Asylum NYC and on the UCB MainStage. JORDAN ALLEN BELL (JACK DAVIS)
Jordan Allen Bell, a staple presence in New York’s indie theater scene, is honored to be working on a revival of this significant play, Pied-À-Terre, exploring timeless trials akin to that of Job. Jordan consistently performs in Off-Off-Broadway productions and festivals, most recently as Northumberland in Boomerang Theatre Company’s Summer Shakespeare in the Park production of Richard II. On screen, Jordan has appeared in several HBO Max docudrama series, including Does Murder Sleep and Evil Lives Here, where his nuanced portrayals explore many facets of human nature. He also co-stars in the comedic sci-fi thriller Spooky Action (Amazon Prime), playing an Amish father entangled in a time-bending quest to save his son. Jordan’s passion lies in complex, psychologically rich characters, making Shakespeare’s fractured kings and wounded men a natural fit. His theater, film, and television credits can be found on IMDb.
MELODY VARGAS (Julia DAVIS UNDERSTUDy)
Melody is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and of the University of Pennsylvania. Her Off-Broadway credits include Gloria (Gloria Maddox Theater), Small Mouth Sounds (Gloria Maddox Theater), Exit Strategy (The Theater Project), Almost Finally (Hudson Guild Theater), The Shotgun Message (Mary MacArthur Theatre), An Epidemic Play (TADA! Theater), Old Haunts (Theaterlab; Robert Moss Theater, NYC Fringe Festival). She toured internationally with Bill W. and Dr. Bob in English and Spanish in Costa Rica, Austin, TX, and SoHo Playhouse, NYC. She was a weekly co-host on BK Live on BRIC TV. Past short films were selected for the NFNY, MFF, QWFF, AFNY, PBFF and the PIFF. She isabsolutely thrilled to be part of this production, cast and crew!
ANASTASIA LIODORI (KATIE UNDERSTUDY)
Anastasia Liodori is an actress, singer-songwriter and martial artist. Last year she was in 8 short films. She played the lead role of Miri in The Shomer Play in a NY Theater Festival. She will take on role of Lucy in The Secrets of Lake Champlain, a feature film directed by Richard Rossi. Pied-À-Terre is her first Off-Broadway role, and she is thrilled to be a part of this production.
LONNY K FRIEDMAN (JACK DAVIS UNDERSTUDY)
Lonny is a classically trained actor, thrilled to be performing Off-Broadway for the first time. Lonny's favorite theatrical roles include 'Mr. Peel' in Tracey Letts' The Minutes, 'Carter' in Neil Labute's Fat Pig, as well as 'Peter Trofimov' in Anton Chekov's The Cherry Orchard. Lonny's film credits include 'Rob' in The Tale of Nicky Newark (with Frank Whaley and Sean Patrick Flannery) and several local commercials. Thanks to the amazing cast and crew. JEAN CARLO CASTILLO (PRODUCTION STAGE MANAGER)
Jean Carlo Castillo is a versatile character actor based in East Orange, New Jersey, known for his grounded intensity, physical commitment, and thoughtful approach to performance. A graduate of The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Film & Television Performance / New Media for Actors, Jean brings both classical training and a modern sensibility to his work. Jean’s recent credits include serving as Stuntman and Fight Choreographer for the upcoming 2025 miniseries The UnAliver, streaming on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, starring as David, the conflicted lead in the short film Smile for the Camera (2025), and serving as sound/lights technician for "Tango in the Rockies" and "The Rubber band company" (2025). Beyond acting, Jean is a skilled martial artist, driver, and visual artist, with additional experience in screenwriting, gaming, and cooking—creative outlets that further inform his layered approach to storytelling and character development. With a dedication to authenticity and a strong collaborative spirit, Jean Carlo Castillo continues to expand his footprint in both independent and mainstream productions across film and television. JOHN S. ANASTASI (Playwright)
Works written for the stage include In My Father’s Eyes, a play with music, produced at the Forum Theatre (New Jersey) and the historic Mishler Theatre (Altoona, PA), Stolen Lives, a two-character drama, presented at the Acorn Theater at Theatre Row. Pied à Terre enjoyed a successful Off-Broadway premiere at the Kirk Theatre at Theatre Row in 2007. Published by Samuel French, Pied à Terre has been produced at the Cork Theatre in Ireland and has been fully translated to Chinese and produced at the Shanghai Grand Theatre in China as well as multiple cities in China. I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan was produced Off-Broadway at the Beckett Theatre. It has been published by Dramatic Publishing of Chicago. Would You Still Love Me IF… was produced Off-Broadway at the New World Stages starring and directed by Kathleen Turner. Chasing Jack, a courtroom drama won best play at the New York Theater Festival and was presented Off-Broadway at the Jerry Orbach Theater. Run For The Roses, a full length screenplay has been optioned by Hangtime Films and will be in production in the near future. MITCH POULOS (Director)
Mitch is a theatre director, playwright, actor, voice-over & commercial artist, and acting coach. He has had the honor and pleasure of directing several of John Anastasi’s plays including Pied À Terre, In My Father’s Eyes and Stolen Lives. Mitch especially enjoys directing original works which include Twenty Broken Legs by Meny Beriro, The Cottage by Cheri Barton Ross, Shining Armor by Larry Auld and Redemption, The Musical by Alita Buzel. Mitch’s recent acting credits include: Theatre: 1st National Tour Billy Elliot, Now and Then, All My Sons, A Steady Rain, All Shook Up, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. TV/Film: “The Hunting Party,” “FBI: Most Wanted,” “Chicago Fire,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Blue Bloods,” “Criminal Minds,” “The Santa Clauses,” “The Office” and “Arrested Development.” Mitch can be seen during the holidays as Santa opposite Kelsey Grammer in the Lifetime Film, The 12 Days of Christmas Eve. Mitch also has his own business, PrimeTime Reels, which creates and edits reels and clips for actors.

is based in New York and produces, manages and casts live events and theatre across the country. 22Q Entertanment is excited to work with Mr. Anastasi having general managed the Off Broadway productions of WOULD YOU STILL LOVE ME IF… starring Kathleen Turner as well as CHASING JACK . KELLY WASSER (Assistant Stage Manager)
Kelly is a NYC-based actress originally from Park City, UT. She graduated with her BFA in Theatre Performance from Westminster College (now University) in 2021, and recently graduated with her AD in Film/TV from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in May 2025. She's been a part of many community theatre productions back in Utah and is ready to step onto the stage once again with this production. She finished her Equity Showcase of An Enemy Of The People at The American Theatre of Actors Inc. and is ready for this Off-Broadway production.
Andy Evan Cohen (Sound Design / Lighting & Projections Programming)
Andy’s recent work includes projections design for Murdoch: The Final Interview (Theater 555), Room 1214 (New Light Theater Project), and Fixing Frankie at ART/NY. Sound design & music credits include Forbidden Broadway: Merrily We Stole A Song; The Greatest Hits Down Route 66 (New Light Theater Project, Drama Desk Nomination for Orchestrations); The Lights Are On (Henry Hewes Award Nomination for Sound Design); and (A)Loft Modulation (Audelco Awards Nomination for Sound Design). Carlo is the creative director of Theatre of Collaborative Arts which provides theatrical technical support for shows including Spamalot, Young Frankenstein, Peter and the Starcatcher, Avenue Q, Little Shop of Horrors, Addams Family, and many more primarily for Entr'Acte Theatrix. Catherine Russell. (General Manager)
Catherine is the general manager of the longest running play in NYC history – Perfect Crime. She has been a general manager, producer, theater builder and actress in NYC since 1980. In 1991 she renovated a strip club at 46th St. and Broadway (now the American Eagle store) where Perfect Crime ran for 13 years and in 2005 transformed 20,000 square feet of raw space into the Theater Center at 50th St. and Broadway. The Theater Center is home to the Jerry Orbach Theater where long running shows like The Fantasticks, and now The Office! A Musical Parody, have played since 2006, and the Anne L. Bernstein Theater where Perfect Crime is about to celebrate its 39th anniversary.

JEST Marketing was founded by Jeffrey Schmelkin who earned his Master’s in Business of the Performing Arts with a focus in Theatrical Marketing from New York University. He works in-house at The Theater Center and is also founder of JEST Marketing, a theatrical marketing agency specializing in strategic campaign development for Off-Broadway productions. Through JEST, Jeffrey freelances as a marketing consultant, partnering with independent producers and Off-Broadway companies.
